Leavers' Party In the Park
Leavers' Party in the Park is Ghana's largest annual non-profit festival, harnessing the power of entertainment, music, arts, and fun activities to celebrate, educate, and inspire the youth. Our purpose is three-fold:
1. Celebration of Achievements: We honour the accomplishments of SHS graduates as they transition to tertiary education, instilling pride and enthusiasm for the future through engaging activities, fun games, and live entertainment.
2. Inform and Educate: Through informative sessions and interactive exhibits, we address critical topics, including:
- Sexual and reproductive health (reducing HIV prevalence and eradicating stigma)
- Mental health (eradicating stigma and addressing substance abuse)
- Climate change (promoting clean cooking practices and environmental sustainability)
- Child Trafficking & Exploitation
3. Inspire and Empower the Youth: We promote:
- Gender equality, women empowerment, and closing the gender gap in STEM
- Youth entrepreneurship programs
- Vocational skills training for underprivileged young persons from deprived communities
- Passion for youth innovations, creativity, and enthusiasm in Technology
